A speech/language screening is a short assessment of your child's communication skills. A screening typically takes 10-15 minutes and includes a formal screening measure, screening results that indicate how your child is functioning with age-expected norms, and recommendations for either a full evaluation, monitoring for 6 months, or a referral to another professional.
